Emmy Kristine Guttulsrud Kristiansen, better known by her first name Emmy, is a Norwegian singer born in Holmestrand on September 13, 2000. She began singing in a choir, and at fourteen took part in the Melodi Grand Prix Junior competition, four years after her brother Erlend. Entering the adult section of the same competition in 2021, she presented her song "Witch Woods" and reached the semi-final stage, which prevented her from taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest that same year. After the release of multiple singles since 2015, Emmy has installed her danceable electro pop style and high-pitched voice in the Norwegian music landscape. She collaborates with J.O.X, Unge Lama, Braaten, Braaheim and Ilyaa, as well as K-391 and Nick Strand on the single "Mom Is Home" (2025). In January 2025, after missing out on selection for the Melodi Grand Prix 2025, she tried her luck again at the Eurovision Song Contest, this time in Ireland on Eurosong 2025. Her song "Laika Party", written with two other Norwegian and one Irish composer, is chosen to represent Ireland in Basel, Switzerland, where the final of the competition takes place on May 17, 2025.
