Erigga

Erhiga Agarivbie (March 30, 1987) is a Nigerian hip-hop and Afro-pop artist who goes by the stage name Erigga. Born in the city of Warri in Southern Nigeria, he began performing in 2010 and made his official debut in 2012 with the single “Mo Street Gan.” Produced by local producer Pfizzy, the track earned him recognition not only in his native country but also in Argentina, where it became the theme song for Radio Continental. He followed up with the singles “Coupé Décalé” (2013) featuring Shuun Bebe and “Love No Be Garri” (2014) with Jimoh Waxiu, setting the stage for his official studio debut, A Trip to the South, released in 2017. More success followed in 2018 with the standalone single “Motivation,” whose accompanying video racked up millions of views on his video-sharing channel. That same year, Erigga dropped a second LP titled Okorowanta, another star-studded effort that solidified his status as a heavyweight in African music. In 2019, he issued not one but two LPs under the name The Erigma and The Erigma II, which featured guest spots by Victor AD, Zlatan, Magnito, MI Abaga, Ice Prince, and Vector. Preceded by the singles “The End” and “Many Nites,” the EP Before the Chaos hit the shelves in 2021.
