Born in Douala, Cameroon, on July 6, 1998, Erna grew up there and studied foreign languages at university. With a parallel passion for music, she took part in the Holidays competition, where her voice came to the fore. She performed at the 2013 Annual Show, and then came into contact with NLMP. With the label, she managed to unveil her first tracks, including "Do Not Forget My Number" (2017) and "One Day" with D'Ada, on which her music blends rap, R'n'B and afropop. The following year, the Cameroonian singer made a change in her aesthetic approach, returning to her gospel roots, modernizing them and instilling a more spiritual dimension into her music. The EP Rebirth, released in 2019 by Constellation Entertainment, symbolizes this evolution in her career. Erna sings her lyrics in French, English, Bakoko, Lingala and Duala, and is gradually becoming a figure of 21st-century Cameroonian gospel.
