Born in Montreal (Canada) in 1995, Étienne Coppée is a Quebec folk singer. He studied music in 2017-2018 at the École de la chanson de Granby. Then, in 2019, he took part in the Destination Chanson Fleuve competition in Petite-Vallée, where he won the public's Coup de Coeur award. The following year, he took part in the Festival Internationale de la Chanson de Granby, where he walked away with the Étoile Stingray prize and the ROSEQ prize. In 2020, he released his first EP, L'Été Indien de Ta Vie , with the song " Demain il fera beau," which served as the soundtrack for the third season of the TV series M'Entends-Tu? In 2021, he reached the finals of the Francouvertes competition. That same year, he released his first album, Et On Pleurera Ensemble , featuring his own take on Daniel Lavoie's hit " Je voudrais voir New York ". At the end of 2022, he composes the song " Avec toi dans le monde ", for the fifth season of the TV show La Vraie Nature, broadcast in 2023 on TVA in Quebec.
