Eva Simons is a Dutch singer-songwriter born to a family of musicians in Amsterdam and learned to play the piano as a child, later studying at the Amsterdam Conservatory. An appearance on a local television talent show led to her joining a group called Raffish, who released an album titled 'How Raffish Are You?' in 2005 after which she went solo. She featured on Afrojack's 2011 single 'Take Over Control' which went to number 23 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs Chart, number 24 on Billboard's Mainstream Top 40 and number 41 on the Hot 100. She also featured on will.i.am's 2012 single 'This Is Love' which topped the UK Singles Chart, reached number two on the France Digital Song Sales Chart and went to number four on the Dance Club Chart. Her own song 'I Don't Like You' topped the Dance Club Chart in 2012 and the 2015 single 'Policeman', featuring Jamaican dancehall performer Konshens, was a hit in several countries in Europe and 'Heartbeat' with Richard Orlinski topped the France Digital Chart in 2016. She has opened for Beyoncé in the Netherlands and collaborated with Apster, R3hab, Stafford Brothers and W&W.
