f5ve, formerly known as SG5 (Sailor Guardians 5), is a Japanese girl group operating under a global framework with management ties to LDH JAPAN and Three Six Zero, and a record label contract with Three Six Zero Recordings. The members are Sayaka, Rui, Ruri, Kaede, and Miyuu. This group is also globally represented by WME. Comprising selected members from the girl groups Happiness and iScream, f5ve was established as a special project unit based in the United States, announced in May 2022. The group's creative direction is co-led by American musician BloodPop®. The renaming to f5ve marked a significant rebranding, aligning with a new concept where members serve as inter-dimensional dream agents. This thematic shift is aimed at promoting optimism and empowerment through their music. They debuted with an innovative musical style, blending futuristic pop with uptempo dance tracks, designed to appeal to both Japanese and international audiences. The group's release, "UFO" (2024) continues to build on their thematic narratives, emphasizing surreal and optimistic aural landscapes.
