The Japanese pop act PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE was formed in 2019 as a nine-member boy band featuring rappers, singers, and dancers. The group made its public debut under the name "Psychic Fever" that September, playing more than 100 shows across Japan before the year's end. By May 2020, the group had slimmed its lineup to eight members following the departure of original member Hanatarou. Another member, Sam, left the roster in 2022, with Psychic Fever choosing to move forward as a seven-piece group featuring bandmates Tsurugi, Nakanishi Yoga, Watanabe Ren, Jimmy, Kohatsu Kokomo, Handa Ryushin, and Weesa. A name change followed later that year, after the group signed with LDH and became affiliated with the entertainment company's collective of male musicians, Exile Tribe. Now known as PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE, the band released its full-length debut album, P.C.F., in July 2022. The album was proceeded by PSYCHIC FEVER from EXILE TRIBE's debut single, "Hotline," as well as the follow-up tracks "Best for You," "Tokyo Spiral," and "Snow Candy." That same summer, the group charted another hit single with "Choose One," which reached Number 4 on Japan's Line Music Top 100 chart. 2023 saw the release of EP Psychic File I, which charted at number 3 on both the Oricon and Billboard charts, spawning the singles "To The Top," "Baku Baku" and "Fire", with the group collaborating with JP THE WAVY on EP 99.9 Psychic Radio in January 2024, featuring the track "Just Like That". In April, the group unveiled Psychic File II, featuring the singles "Love Fire" and "Bee-Po."
