MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE, a sub-unit of THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, features five members specializing in rap: LIKIYA, Kamiya Kenta, Yamamoto Shogo, Urakawa Shohei, and Suzuki Takahide. Formed in 2019 and debuting in 2020, they quickly became known for their dynamic performances and strong stage presence. The unit was first showcased during THE RAMPAGE's 2019 THROW YA FIST tour, performing the original song "Determined," which marked their onstage debut before they were officially named. In 2020, alongside the announcement of their official name, MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE, they planned to open for EXILE SHOKICHI vs CrazyBoy at the Yokohama Arena, though the event was eventually canceled. They continued to release music actively, with singles like "No.1" and "Drip Drop." Their activity expanded in 2022 with the release of singles such as "5" and "LIT," and in 2023, they brought out "Yume wa Yume no Mama." 2024 was a significant year for MA55IVE with the release of their first studio album M5V. They introduced the album with a pre-release single, "Gerbera," used as a movie theme song, showcasing member Suzuki Takahide.
