The US hard and metalcore specialists Falling in Reverse have been playing together since 2008. Formed in a prison in Nevada, where singer Ronnie Radke was serving a two-and-a-half-year sentence, the band only began recording their debut album The Drug In Me Is You in 2010 after their singer's release. It was released a year later via Epitaph Records and immediately reached number 19 on the Billboard 200 in the USA. Falling in Reverse, who repeatedly incorporate elements of pop-punk, hip-hop, screamo and indie rock into their sound, can look back on numerous line-up changes over the course of their existence. By the time of their second album Fashionably Late (2013, number 17 in the USA), seven musicians had already joined and left the group. The third LP Just Like You not only became a critics' favorite in 2015, but also reached number 57 on the UK album charts and number 21 on the Billboard 200. The fourth studio album Coming Home (2017) was followed by numerous single releases such as "Losing My Life" (2019) and the 2019 platinum hit "Popular Monster". in 2020, guitarist and founding member Derek Jones passed away at the age of just 35. Falling in Reverse then returned musically with further single releases such as "I'm Not a Vampire Revamped" and "Zombified". After the Papa Roach cover "Last Resort (Reimagined)" (2023), the band scored further top 20 hits with "Ronald" and "All My Life". In August 2024, Falling in Reverse returned with the album Popular Monster. The album reached number 4 in the USA and also reached the top 10 in the charts for the first time in Germany (number 10), Austria (number 2) and Switzerland (number 9).
