Fat Mizzo

Fat Mizzo, real name Hamza, is a Moroccan rapper, composer and multi-instrumentalist, born in 1991 in Rabat. Born into a music-loving family, he was introduced to music at an early age, influenced by the lute played by his father. His attraction to American rap began at the age of 13, with artists such as Mobb Deep, Notorious B.I.G. and Big Pun. At the conservatory, he learned piano, enriching his musical approach. His first creations saw the light of day in his home studio in Béni Mellal, and he made a name for himself in 2010 with tracks like "Episode 1". He then collaborated with Fayr on "80 Barz" and "Psychotherapy". Fat Mizzo also makes a name for himself as pianist with the group Amsterjam. In 2017, he worked on his first album, Chernobyl, and multiplied his collaborations, reinforcing his notoriety in the Moroccan rap landscape. After a musical break, he returns in force in 2019 with new projects. In January 2025, he released "Murray", confirming his artistic commitment.
