Feid is a Colombian singer-songwriter with a talent for different instruments and skills on both sides of the microphone. Born Salomón Villada Hoyos on August 19, 1992, in Medellin, Colombia, he was exposed to art and music from an early age. His father worked as an art teacher and introduced him to the visual arts and music, teaching him to use both as tools with which to approach the world. It was something of an accident that really got him started with music, however. His sister was attending music classes at the University of Antioquia and, unable to leave him home alone, took him along. There, he learned the clarinet and began to sing. He joined a children's choir and made his first appearance on a record - a collection of Christmas carols. The experience helped bring him further into the world of music and, as reggaeton boomed in 2004, he fell in love with the genre. Feid has branched out since his early days as a vocalist and clarinet player and now composes, produces, and plays the piano and guitar. Over the course of his career, he's worked with artists including the likes of Marc Anthony, J Balvin, Nicky Jam, and Reykon. J Balvin, in particular, had a huge impact on the young artist as a mentor and Feid's work as co-writer on J Balvin's “Ginza” remains a high point in his career. Feid's debut solo album, Así Como Suena, was released in 2015, achieving great success in Colombia. In 2017, he scored a hit with “911” (featuring Nacho), which has been viewed on social media more than 43 million times. Feid released his sophomore album, 19, in 2019, followed by his 2020 release FERXXO (Vol. 1: M.O.R.). Feid continued to achieve impressive chart success with his singles including “Si Tú Supieras”, which was taken from his fourth full-length, Inter Shibuya - La Mafia (2021). A deluxe edition of the album titled Inter Shibuya (Ferxxo Edition) appeared that same day, containing new features by Karol G, Ryan Castro, The Rudeboyz, Eladio Carrión, Mora and Sael. Its follow-up, the aptly-titled Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo, Te Pirateamos el Álbum was released ahead of time in September 2022 after the singer's fans leaked the album in its entirety. Featuring guest spots by Yandel and Sky Rompiendo, the LP became one of his highest-charting efforts by cracking the Top 10 of Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. 2024 saw Feid reuniting with Sky Rompiendo on the EP LOS 9 DE FERXXO Y SKY ROMPIENDO, whose single"Estoy Putiao" peaked at number 19 on the Colombian Hot 100.
