Ferlyn Wong Jing Ling, born on February 1, 1992, in Singapore and better known as Ferlyn G, is a multifaceted artist known for her roles as a singer, dancer, and actress. Initially part of the South Korean girl group Skarf from 2012 to 2014, she has since established a solo career in her home country. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Korean—a skill honed during her two-year stint in South Korea—Wong released her debut EP titled First on January 2, 2015. This marked her independence from iGlobal Star as she ventured to establish her own label, GIF Music. Her entrepreneurial spirit was further evidenced when she co-founded the independent record label and artist management company, GIF Music, releasing her English hip-hop single "Gif To You" in 2015. Her acting portfolio expanded with her feature film debut in the horror-comedy When Ghost Meets Zombie in 2019, where she played the lead role and contributed two singles to the film's soundtrack. Before her rise in the music and film industries, Wong trained at Ocean Butterflies International, performing as a backup dancer for prominent artists and briefly studying business at Temasek Polytechnic before fully committing to her artistic career.
