Floorfilla is an Italian electronic music duo specializing in Eurodance, founded in 1997. They are the brainchild of DJ Gabriele Cerlini, who went by the stage name DJ Cerla and scored a chart-topping hit in 1993 in Italy, Spain and Brazil, "Rotterdam 93". At first, the group presented itself as a trio, with Gabriele Cerlini joined by producers Maurice Bale Mondonga (nicknamed Momo B) and Elvio Moratto. But the latter left the project after contributing to the first track, "Anthem #1" (No. 45 in France), which flirts with techno and samples the song "I Will Survive " popularized by Gloria Gaynor. In 1999, the duo released "Anthem #2 " (#9 in France) and "Anthem #3 " (#16 in France), followed by "Anthem #4 " (#23 in Italy) in 2000. In the same year, the duo released their first album, United Beatz of Floorfilla, which reached number 34 in the French charts, followed in 2003 by Le Voyage, which debuted at number 61 in Austria. Meanwhile, the hits "Italodancer" and "The Hypno" reached number 9 in the French charts in 2001. Active until 2006, with titles such as "Gigamix" (No. 44 in Austria in 2004) and "Kosmiklove " (also No. 36 in Austria in 2004), the band then went into retreat. However, they returned twice, in 2013 with "Just Another Night" in collaboration with German DJ Manian (#59 in France) and "One Heart " with ItaloBrothers, in 2015 (#57 in France).
