Fourty

René Rackwitz is a German rapper who performs under the stage name Fourty. Born on June 16, 1995, in the city of Winterbach, he began writing and producing his own songs at age 15. After releasing two EPs under the moniker 40CRWNS, he was discovered by fellow MC PA Sports, relocated to Berlin, and changed his stage name to Fourty. The up-and-coming rapper quickly managed to land a record deal with PA Sports' Life Is Pain label, who released the singles "Aperitif," "Mountain Dew," and "Dezember" in 2019. Preceded by the Top 20 single "Weisser Rauch," the EP London Dry came out in 2020 and was followed by a series of high-profile cameos on songs by Vanessa Mai, PA Sports, DJ Jeezy, Younotus, and Felix Jaehn. Afterhour, his studio debut, saw the light in 2021 and reached number 32 in Germany, number 51 in Austria, and number 44 in Switzerland. In 2022, Fourty returned with the single "Shots," which featured Jamule and peaked at number 52 on the German Singles Chart. The track was included in the rapper's second studio effort Behind the Scenes, released in May of that year. A few months later, he dropped Kids with Attitude, a collaborative album with Jamule. Following a series of non-album singles released throughout 2023, Fourty cracked the Top 10 of the German charts with the Bausa-featured "Vempa," hitting number 9 while also charting in Austria and Switzerland.
