Frenna, born Francis Junior Edusei on 17 November 1991 in the Hague, is a prominent and prolific Dutch-Ghanaian rapper and singer who first gained widespread recognition as a member of the popular rap group SFB (Strictly Family Business). His solo career took off with his debut album Geen Oog Dichtgedaan (2016), and he quickly emerged as one of the leading voices in the Dutch music scene. He continued to build on this success with subsequent releases, including his triumphant sophomore album Francis in 2018, which was certified five times platinum in the Netherlands. Future albums enjoyed similar success in the Dutch charts, including 2021's Championships—a collaboration with Jonna Fraser, a Dutch rapper of Surinamese descent—which was given gold certification. Many of his singles have also made it into the Dutch charts, including 2024's "Pretty Girls," which was among the Top 25 Billboard singles in the Netherlands.
