Originally known as "5dolls," F-ve Dolls is a South Korean girl group that charted several Top 40 hits between 2011 and 2015. The group was formed in Seoul, South Korea, in 2011, with Core Contents Media assembling the initial lineup of Lee Soo-mi, Heo Chan-mi, Ryu Hyo-young, Jin Hye-won, and Seo Eun-kyo. This roster debuted with the Charming Five Girls EP in early 2011, reaching number 42 on the Gaon Albums Chart along the way. A second EP, Club Remix Time to Play, arrived several months later and fared better, hitting number 10 in South Korea. Meanwhile, F-ve Dolls enjoyed heavy airplay in the girls' homeland throughout 2011, thanks to the singles "Your Words" (which peaked at number 6, marking the group's first and only Top 10 hit) and "Like This Or That" (which reached number 16, eventually selling more than one million copies). A third EP, First Love, was released in 2013 and spawned another handful of singles, with "Soulmate #1" climbing to number 44 on the Billboard Korea Hot 100 and "Can You Love Me?" hitting number 19 on the same chart. The EP itself was later certified gold. Despite this success, the group's lineup proved to be unstable, resulting in frequent personnel changes during the band's final two years. Rumors of the group's breakup became to surface in November 2014, and F-ve Dolls disbandment was confirmed several months later on March 10, 2015. F-ve Dolls is now regarded as a notable second-generation girl idol group.
