South Korean hip hop duo Geeks, consisting of rappers Lil Boi and Louie, are signed under Grandline Entertainment and Rainbow Bridge World. Both members are recognized as lyricists, composers, and producers, establishing themselves as prominent figures in the Korean rap scene. Debuting with their EP Officially Missing You on March 9, Geeks gained significant traction with the title song, a remake of the R&B hit by Canadian singer Tamia. Recognized as the "Rookie of the Month" for May at the Cyworld Digital Music Awards, Geeks' momentum continued to build. Their follow-up EP Hangover, released on April 13, featured a title track of the same name accompanied by a music video, climbing to number 33 on Korean charts initially, later reaching number 36 after it was repackaged. Collaborating with Sistar's Soyou on "Officially Missing You Too" in November, 2012, Geeks achieved their first chart-topping single, which they followed with "How Are You?" in April, 2013, which went to number 7, and debut album Backpack, which debuted at number 8. The album's lead single, "Wash Away," featuring Ailee, garnered them multiple nominations at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, including Song of the Year and Geeks released the single "Fly" as well as its accompanying music video on July 10, depicting the duo's spontaneous June guerrilla concerts. The single secured their 7th-place position on the Gaon Weekly Chart for the fourth week of July. In 2017, Geeks unveiled their second album, Fireworks, which entered the charts at number 34. The album spawned several hit singles, including "Sometimes"featuring Crush and Giriboy, which soared to number 2.
