Geneviève Lapointe is a singer-songwriter and pop singer from Quebec. In 1980, she played the title role in the musical Muguette Nucléaire. She came to public attention in 1982 with her role as Dolbie Stéréo in the musical Pied de Poule. The title song propelled her to the top of the Quebec radio charts. In 1984, she released a solo single entitled " Les Life-guards ", which met with little success. She reprised her role as Dolbie Stéréo in 1987 in the show Vis Ta Vinaigrette. She sang the theme song with Marc Drouin and Les Echalotes. From 1989, she wrote most of the songs for the group Les B.B., including the hits " Donne-moi ma chance ", " Snob " and " T'es dans la lune ". She also wrote for Kathleen, Marie Carmen and Mitsou during the 1990s. Geneviève Lapointe also does graphic design, including for Alexandre Poulin's album Une Lumière Allumée .
