Austria's Global Deejays have made a specialty of transcending old rock and dance tracks with their house. It all began in 2004, when they gave a new lease of life to Scott McKenzie's "San Franciso", which became "The Sound of San Francisco" and an international hit (No. 18 in France). The track also features a sample of the version recorded by Johnny Hallyday in 1967. They then went on to record "What a Feeling" and "Stars on 45 ". Pump Up the Jam", "I Was Made for Lovin' You" and "Eye of the Tiger " were refreshed on white vinyl. In 2007, their version of "Everybody's Free" by and with Rozalla reached No. 7 in Australia. A "European" version of "Everybody's Free" was released in 2009.
