GroovyRoom is South Korean DJ and music production duo from Seoul composed of Park Gyu-jeong and Lee Hwi-min. With interests in mainly boom bap and trap music, GroovyRoom made their debut in 2016 with the release of single "Loyalty," unveiling their first EP titled Everywhere the following year. Second single, "Sunday," climbed to number 19 on the Korean music charts with subsequent tracks “Somewhere” and “My Paradise” also attaining chart success, seeing the pair take home Producer of the Year at both the 2017 and 2018 Korean Hip-Hop Awards. The awards kept coming after GroovyRoom embarked on a new collaboration with Ambition Musik's Leellamarz, titled Room Service, earning them Best Hip-hop Maker Award at the 2019 Soribada Best K-Music Awards and capitalising on this momentum, GroovyRoom released a string of singles including "Palette," "Burn," and "FYL," in 2020, announcing the launch of AREA, a new record label in collaboration with H1ghr Music the following year. Collectively releasing "Whistle" and "Can't Slow Me Down" with rap-artist Mirani in 2022, GroovyRoom returned the following year with "Let me Leave You" released on June 15th, 2023.
