GWSN

Erstwhile South Korean girl group GWSN, or Girls in the Park, assembled in 2018 under the management of Kiwi Pop (now known as The Wave Music) and comprised seven members from South Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Miya, Seokyoung, Seoryoung, Anne, Minju, Soso, and Lena stepped out with their debut EP The Park in the Night Part One in 2018 and went straight to number 12 in South Korea, spawning the single and title track "Puzzle Moon." Two follow-up EPs, aptly titled The Park in the Night Part Two and The Park in the Night Part Three, emerged in 2019, the first one housing lead single "Pinky Star (Run)" and the second one propelled by "Red-Sun (021)." That same year, they won the K-Pop Singer Award at the Korea Culture Entertainment Awards. Soso subsequently announced her hiatus from the group due to an ankle ligament injury and GWSN continued as a six-piece, with The Keys EP arriving in 2020 followed by The Other Side of the Moon the next year. The group disbanded in 2023.
