Harrison Todd Stafford is an American musician born in 1977 in Pleasanton, near San Francisco. Fascinated by Rasta culture, he founded Groundation in 1998 with two university friends, releasing a debut album the following year. The group's discography includes numerous tributes to legendary Jamaican musicians. Harrison Stafford released a documentary on reggae, Holding On to Jah, in 2011, followed by his first solo album, Madness, under the name Professor. In 2012, he released the live album Throw Down Your Arms and with Groundation, Building an Ark. He was back in 2016 for One Dance, an album released under his own name, but performed in the company of the musicians who accompany him on the Professor project.
