Bishop Hezekiah Walker is a pastor, choir leader and singer from Brooklyn, New York. In the 1980s, Walker formed the Love Fellowship Choir, releasing their debut live album, I'll Make It, in 1986. After the success of their first record, the choir found that there was a huge following for sacred music and they recorded their second album, Oh Lord We Praise You, in 1989. When the secular world began to take notice of the talent that spread through the choir, artists including Celine Dion, Patti LaBelle and Enrique Iglesias invited them to perform with them in live shows. Walker continued to carry out his Ministerial duties, spreading the word of God and taking care of his flock, but also found the time to release albums of his worship music with the choir. Several more records followed in the 1990s and in 2001 they released Love Is Live which won them a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album By Choir Or Chorus. The album 20/85 The Experience was released in 2005 and saw the choir achieve their eleventh top ten album in the Gospel Charts.
