Hindi Zahra is a Moroccan singer-songwriter who has two albums and two EPs in release, performs internationally and acts in movies. After spending part of her youth in Paris, she learned to play several instruments and began writing songs including those on her debut recording, an eponymous EP that came out in 2009. Her first album 'Handmade' was released in 2010 followed by EP 'Until the Next Journey' in 2011 and her second album 'Homeland' in 2015. She has performed at events such as the Gnaoua world music festival in Essaouira and her screen appearances include Fatih Akin's 'The Cut' (2014) and Tala Hadid's 'The Narrow Frame of Midnight' (2014).
