Hong Da Bin

DPR Live - born Hong Da-bin on January 1, 1993 in South Korea - is a rapper and singer. Between the ages of 5 and 18, he was raised in Guam but spent a lot of time in South Korea. Da-bin initially pursued his studies in psychology and philosophy before serving his mandatory military service in South Korea. During his time in the military, he decided to follow his true dream – a career in music. Once he left the military, he began writing material. He joined several K-Pop groups including Newest Crew. Da-bin was one of the founders of multi-media group DPR (Dream Perfect Regime). He adapted the stage name DPR Live and released his debut EP, Coming to You Live, in early 2017. The release reached number 31 on the Korean Music chart. In December, 2017, he released his second EP, Her, which featured the hit single “Martini Blue”. The EP rose to number 24 on the Korean chart. In March, 2020, DPR Live released his debut album Is Anybody Out There?, which hit the number 5 spot the Korean chart. On July 23, 2021, he released his third EP titled Iite Cool. Later, on October 9, 2023, he disclosed his decision to promote using his birth name and established a new label, CTYL. He also released his second album, Giggles, on January 23, 2024.
