Born on 8 October 2001 in Irwon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korean popstar Huh Yun Jin cut her teeth as a contestant on the survival show Produce 48 in 2018 where she represented Pledis Entertainment. Despite being eliminated in episode 11 after ranking 26th place and having the start of her career derailed, she later rose to fame as a member of the girl group Le Sserafim, debuting with the group in May 2022 and releasing the mini-album Fearless. She began putting out solo singles around the same time, with her first digital single "Raise y_our glass" arriving in August 2022 to mark Le Sserafim's 100th day of debut. In December that year she covered Wham!'s festive classic "Last Christmas" for her second digital single release as part of the 2022 Christmas ONSTAGE project. She entered 2023 with a new rock-meets-trap single, "I ≠ Doll", which explores themes relating to beauty and appearance.
