Hulvey

Hulvey is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer who performs in the Christian hip-hop genre. Born Christopher Michael Hulvey on January 13, 1999, in Brunswick, Georgia, he relocated to Atlanta after dropping out of college to focus on his music career. He spent the following years working at a local supermarket before signing with Reach Records in 2019. The EP Prelude, his first release for the label, appeared in 2020 and was followed by a second extended play titled BRKNHRT later that year. During this time, Hulvey landed songwriting credits on Lecrae's tenth studio album Restoration and collaborated with fellow Christian artists 116 Clique and Jordan Feliz. Released in 2021, his studio debut Christopher reached Number 8 on Billboard's Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart and Number 19 on the Rap Albums chart. COMA, his third EP, saw the light a few months later. Subsequent singles such as "Beautiful," "Have Me," and "Closer," all released in 2022, showcased Hulvey's lyrical evolution while establishing him as one of the fastest-rising stars in the Christian rap scene. In 2023, his single "Walk" entered the Hot Christian Songs Top 50 at Number 33.
