A Parisian band blending pop and electronic music, Isaac Delusion was founded in 2012 by Loïc, a singer with a very high-pitched voice and guitarist, and Jules, keyboardist and guitarist. They are then joined by keyboardist and guitarist Bastien, bassist Nicolas and drummer Cédric. In the year of their formation, their association resulted in an EP: Midnight Sun, from which the title track was taken as a single. This was followed by a new 4-title EP, Early Morning , also in 2012. The following year was devoted to recording their first studio album, Isaac Delusion, on a farm in Normandy. It was released in 2014 on Cracki Records, supported by the singles "Children of the Night" and "She Pretends". The interest generated by the album gives them access to numerous festivals such as Les Vieilles Charrues and the Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2017, the band returned to the studio and put the finishing touches to Rust & Gold. The following year, their song "The Sinner" became part of the soundtrack to Éléonore Pourriat's film Je Ne Suis Pas un Homme Facile . In 2019, Isaac Delusion put the finishing touches to Uplifters, featuring the stunning Eddy Mitchell cover "Couleur menthe à l'eau ". It will then be five years before a new opus is released, called Lost and Found, recorded in the Breton countryside, with LucasV on production. It includes a duet, "All Day", with Olivia Merilahti, former lead singer of The Do.
