Jala Brat

Bosnian rapper, songwriter and producer Jala Brat was born Jasmin Fazlić in Sarajevo on October 16, 1986. He started rapping in 2004 and founded the hip-hop band BluntBylon with others. In 2011, the musician released his first EP Replay with a song featuring Buba Corelli. In 2016, Jala Brat represented Bosnia-Herzegovina together with Dalal Midhat-Talakić, Deen and Ana Rucer at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden. They sang the song "Ljubav je". The single "Nema bolje", another collaboration with Buba Corelli and RAF Camora, was released at the beginning of 2018. In Austria, the track made it to 40th place in the charts. In summer 2019, the song "Kamikaza" with Coby and Buba Corelli was released and climbed to number 42 in the charts in Austria. Jala Brat's first EP #99 was a particular success in Switzerland and Austria, where the EP reached number 21 and 34 in the charts. In September 2021, the rapper released the track "Noc" with Hava and reached 62nd place in the charts in Austria. His second studio album, Futura, followed. The single "Roze" with Buba Corelli and Devito was released in January 2022 and reached 60th place in the Austrian charts. In 2023, Jala Brat continues his collaboration with Buba Corelli. The album Goodfellas is released in July. The album climbs to number 10 in Austria and also reaches number 30 in the charts in Switzerland. In February, Jala Brat releases the album Goat Season - Part One together with Buba Corelli. It reaches number 22 in Austria. Goat Season - Part Two (number 11 in Austria) and Goat Season - Final Chapter (number 9 in Austria) are followed by two more albums in the same year.
