Bonez MC

Bonez MC, real name Johann "John" Lorenz Moser, is known as a member of the hip-hop crew 187 Strassenbande but also as a solo artist. His style is somewhere between French dancehall, street rap and German rap. Bonez MC was born in Hamburg on December 23, 1985 and has been making a name for himself since 2006 through his involvement in various samplers and albums. With his first video "Toprott" (2006), Bonez MC attracted the attention of the Hamburg label Jentown Cryhme. His first mixtape "Mehr geht nicht" (More is not possible) is also released here, with which he achieves great fame in Hamburg. The rapper celebrates his first chart success with his debut album Krampfhaft kriminell, which is released on his label Toprott Muzik, founded in 2012. The album High und Hungrig (2014) - a collaboration with Gzuz - finally made it into the top 10 of the German charts. Since then, Bonez MC's success has grown with almost every release. With the album Palmen aus Plastik (2016), he achieved one of the biggest successes in German rap history together with Raf Camora. The single of the same name goes double platinum. Bonez MC even achieved diamond status with the song "Ohne mein Team". His second solo album Hollywood becomes a number 1 hit in 2020. The album generates four number 1 placements, including the single "Roadrunner", with which Bonez MC climbs to the top of the charts for the first time as a solo artist. The third solo album Hollywood Uncut follows in the same year, another number 1 album. Bonez MC then collaborates with fellow rappers again. In 2022, Palmen aus Plastik 3, another album with Raf Camora, is released. The longplayer makes it to number 1 in Germany again. Bonez MC achieves the same success together with Gzuz and the joint album High & Hungry 3 in 2023. At the end of the year, Bonez MC releases Loveline, an EP with new songs. In fall 2024, Bonez MC releases another album, Gameboy.
