Jauz

Electronic dance music producer and DJ Sam Vogel, also known as Jauz, was born on September 2, 1993 in Mill Valley, California. After teaching himself guitar and music production at a young age, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue music and quickly made a name for himself in the dance community. His 2014 track "Feel The Volume" gained international recognition, attracting support from big names like Zedd, Skrillex, and Diplo. Known for his energetic performances and eclectic music style, Jauz became a regular on major festival lineups, blending different musical genres in his work. He went on successful tours like The Friendzy Tour in 2016 and Bite America! Tour in 2018, where he also launched his artist label, Bite This! His debut album, The Wise & The Wicked, topped the dance charts shortly after its release, with sophomore album Off the Deep End (2019) gaining the producer even more of a following. In the same year, Jauz played at Coachella and remixed the viral hit "Baby Shark." After releasing the Dangerous Waters EP, he embarked on a sold-out tour in the US and Canada. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jauz turned to Twitch streaming and raised over $50,000 for charity with guests like Illenium, Marshmello, and Alesso. In 2020, he recorded fan-favourite song "Wildlife," with vocalist Karra, releasing several non-album singles, including “Forever” (with Micah Martin) (2021), “Make it Good” (2021) and “PPL” (2022), which he followed with popular EP Block Party later that year. In his 2023 full-length album titled Rise of the Wise, Jauz shifted his attention towards melodic, futuristic house music, seeing lead single “Lights Go Out” reach number 33 on the Top 40 Radio Dance & Mix Show Songs chart, which he followed with his next single "DREAMING" on September 8.
