Java

With "Sex accordéon et alcool", the musicians of Java have created their own anthem, but have not confined themselves to it. On the contrary, the Parisian rap and musette band has diversified through studio albums (the Parisian Hawaï in 2000 and the Brazilian Safari Croisière in 2003), a live Java sur Seine in 2001 and successful collaborations (notably with reggae artist Winston Mc Anuff in 2007). After the solo escape of lyricist-singer R-wan, they return in 2009 with the album Maudit Français, and where they are most needed: on stage, to offer new whirlwinds of wordplay and make people "dance, dance like monkeys".
