The German rapper Jiggo was born Denis Şengül on September 8, 1995 in Schwäbisch Gmünd. His mother comes from Spain and his father from Turkey. The musician grew up in Göppingen in Baden-Württemberg. The debut EP Pablo Picasso was released in 2016 with the track of the same name and four other songs. The EP Next Level and Jiggo's first mixtape Future Kid were released a year later. The single release "Say My Name" was viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube and Spotify. The EP Casanova followed in 2018 with the tracks "Mi Amor", "Casanova" and "Pocahontas (Skit)". Jiggo released his debut album Chérie in October 2019 with the songs "Strip" with Ben-E and "Ohne Dich" with Hadi28. The album Sex, Drugs & Rock'n'roll followed in March 2020. In collaboration with rapper Azad, the single "Immer wenn es regnet" was released in the summer and rose to 79th place in the German charts. Also released in 2020 were the singles "Moonlight", which reached number 1 in the German single trend charts, "Sie will", "Sa Vite " with Belah and the song "Halb vier" with Morpheuz. In July 2021, the single " Uber" was released, a collaboration with German R&B and urban singer Ardian Bujupi, which reached number 7 in the German single trend charts.
