Cantopop star Jinny Ng first found fame on the small screen in 2014, joining Hong Kong's Voice Entertainment and making a name for herself singing theme songs for TVB dramas, including the microfilm A Time Of Love. Prior to that, Ng – born Jinny Ng Yeuk Hei in Fuzhou, Fujian, China on May 23, 1992 – was discovered singing karaoke as a teenager and recorded a duet with Enzo Siu, "Love@Earth" in 2010 that helped to kickstart her career. Hei's debut EP Love Diary arrived later that year, and a hit single with Alfred Hui, "Intimate," came out in 2011. Hei released her first studio album in 2012, Blue Sky, and that same year underwent surgery to remove a stomach tumor. Her sophomore album I Learned was released in 2013 and the following year she made the crossover to television. In January 2015, Hei's song "Love Is Not Easy" – which was featured on the drama series Line Walker – won the Golden Song award at the 2014 Jade Solid Gold Awards Presentation. Hei scored a hit album with 2016's The Secret of Tears, and in 2020 dropped her fourth album, Priceless Love.
