Jo Deok-bae (Cho Deok-bae), born on August 21, 1959, in Seoul, South Korea, is a celebrated ballad and folk singer-songwriter, as well as the former CEO of Samho Camus. He debuted in 1985 with the song "In a Dream", followed by timeless hits like "My Old Story" (1986), "If You Come into My Heart" (1993), and "I Won't Sing Sad Songs" (1988).
