Jo Dong-hee, born on April 25, 1973, in Seoul, South Korea, is a celebrated folk rock singer with a multifaceted career in the arts. She began her journey as a musician in 1993, debuting at an underground live club. In 1994, she expanded her creative pursuits as an underground film director, and by 1995, she had also debuted as a musical actress. Her versatility as an artist shone through in 2002 when she participated as a guitarist and vocalist in the project album Wonder Bird 2nd Album, solidifying her position in the music industry. In 2011, Jo released her first full-length album, Jo Dong-hee 1st Album, showcasing her distinctive voice and songwriting talents. Continuing her musical journey, she released a new album, Blooming Point, in 2024, reaffirming her enduring influence and creativity in the world of folk rock.
