jo0ji (George) is a Japanese singer-songwriter, born on September 13, 1999 in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. He began playing the piano when he was in the second grade of elementary school, and was influenced by the music his parents listened to when he was young, as well as by various musical influences during his junior and senior high school years. he began his musical career in 2021 with a song he created for a friend who was depressed, "Fuyuki ni Hana (Unyieldingly Flowers). In June of the same year, he posted a demo of the same song on his YouTube page, followed by demos of "Dasha," "Emori," and "Rain Drunk." In August 2022, he digitally released "Fuyun ni Hana" but later went private; in September 2023, he officially debuted with his first EP "475"; in January 2024, he released his first Single "Lantern" was released digitally in January 2024, followed by "escaper" in February, and a contract with Sony Music Entertainment in June 2024; singles "Dasha" in July, "Nukui" in August, "Gaze" in September, and "BAE" and "Work Song" in October 2024. Entering the year 2025, the group released "Gowasu" in March. While performing music, he continues to work at the local fishing port, influenced by his upbringing with a father who is a fisherman.
