Josiane Nsimba

Josiane Nsimba, singer-songwriter and gospel singer, was born in Matadi, DRC. Born into a Christian family, she discovered her passion for music at an early age and joined her church choir at the age of 8. In 2016, she made a name for herself by opening Michel Bakenda's concert in Toronto and taking part in the Bana Congo event alongside Moïse Mbiye and Mike Kalambay. In 2020, her performance of"Mokolo lokola oyo" during a live show with Michel Bakenda revealed her to the general public. In 2021, she took part in the"Light Worship" live recording, where she performed"Exagère encore", a track that was released in 2022 and racked up over 12 million views. In 2023, she launched her debut album Prémices with a concert in Kinshasa, followed by shows in Brazzaville and Libreville. In 2024, she announces an exclusive European tour, kicking off on September 7 in Brussels, where she will perform her greatest hits in a never-before-seen visual show.
