JRK19, real name, is a French rapper from the Danube district in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. He began his career in 2020 with a series of freestyles entitled Avenue Porte Brunet, a reference to his neighborhood. These freestyles quickly gained popularity, with over 3 million views on YouTube. His style is characterized by direct, raw and technical rap, incorporating influences from trap and new jazz. In July 2023, JRK19 was incarcerated, but this did not stop him from pursuing his musical career. At the end of the year, the #FreeJRK19 EP is released. this project includes the track "Mec de Panam" and strengthens his reputation thanks to his popularity on streaming platforms and social networks. JRK19 also collaborated with artists such as Freeze Corleone, Ninho, and ASHE 22. He returned in 2024 with the album Maudit à Vie, which included collaborations with artists such as Yvnnis, Mister You and Maes. The album reached number 16 in the French charts.
