Malty 2BZ, a French rapper of Guadeloupean origin, lives in the La Sablière neighborhood of Vitry-sur-Seine, near Paris. He made his rap debut in 2018 with a series of freestyles entitled Taff. Two years later, influenced by the rise of the Drill, he took his turn, releasing a new series: Freestyle Drill. On February 6, 2023, Malty 2BZ revealed the tracklist for his first project, Enfant de Malheur, which was released 18 days later. The project features sixteen tracks, with collaborations from Kalash, Niaks, Negrito, Fresh La Douille, Rsko and Kerchak. On February 24, he celebrated its release by unveiling the video for"Abonnés".
