JRK 19 is a French rapper from the Danube district in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. He made a name for himself in 2020 with a series of freestyles entitled "Avenue Porte Brunet", in reference to his neighborhood, which racked up over 3 million views on YouTube. His style is characterized by direct, raw and technical rap, incorporating influences from trap and new jazz. In July 2023, JRK 19 was incarcerated. Taking advantage of a furlough in November of the same year, he recorded the "#FreeJRK" project in 24 hours, including the track "Mec de Panam", which met with great success on streaming platforms and social networks. In 2024, he returned with the album "Maudit à Vie", featuring collaborations with artists such as Yvnnis, Mister You and Maes. The album reached number 16 in the French charts. Over the course of his career, JRK 19 has also collaborated with artists such as Freeze Corleone, Ninho and ASHE 22. In August 2024, he collaborated with British rapper Central Cee on the track "Bolide Noir", boosting his international profile. In February 2025, he is scheduled to perform at La Cigale in Paris, followed by a tour including a date in London.
