Julia Jacklin is an Australian indie pop and alternative country singer who studied singing as a child, performed in a band at high school and had a stint with Liz Hughes as a duo called Salta. Her 2016 singles 'Pool Party' and 'Coming of Age' gained traction internationally and she performed around the world with appearances at the End of the Road festival in England and South By Southwest in America. She also performs with her band Phantastic Furniture. Her 2016 debut album 'Don't Let the Kids Win' made the charts in her homeland as did her second, 'Crushing', which went to number 67 on the UK Albums Chart upon its release in March 2019. Her 2019 schedule included appearances in Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle West in Australia, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, and London in the UK, Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin and Zurich across Europe, and across North America in New York, Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles and New Orleans.
