Caroline Rose is a singer-songwriter from New York who began her music career in 2010 after graduating from college with a degree in architecture. Deciding against pursuing her chosen subject, instead following the path she had set on after beginning to write songs at the age of 13, she toured the country and worked immensely hard to promote her music. When she couldn't get a gig, she would busk on the street, and after meeting Vermont musician Jer Coons, set up a Kickstarter to fund her 2013 album 'America Religious'. Smashing her target easily, the album was released to critical acclaim and attracted distribution company Thirty Tigers who released the follow-up 'I Will Not Be Afraid'. Signing to New West Records in 2017 amidst Rose's rapidly expanding fanbase, she looked to adapt her style to suit witty and sarcastic songwriting. Her third album 'Loner' was the result of this, which had a more pop style, with synthesizers more prominent than ever before.
