Jung Il-hoon (born October 4, 1994, in Seoul, South Korea), known professionally as Ilhoon, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, record producer, host, actor, and entertainer. After graduating from Hanlim Multi Art School and pursuing acting at Korea College of Media Arts, Jung made his acting debut in the JTBC sitcom I Live in Cheongdam Dong, along with four other initial members of BtoB, making his official debut with the group in March, 2012. That same year, he collaborated with 4Minute's Gayoon on “My Love By My Side” and featured on Hyuna's track "Unripe Apple," teaming up with her again three years later on the single "Roll Deep" from her 2015 EP A+. In May 2017, Jung released self-written track, "Fancy Shoes", as part of BtoB's Piece of BtoB solo project, announcing his debut album Big Wave, in February, 2018 which was released on March 8, climbing to number 2 on the Korean charts. The album includes five tracks, featuring lead single, "She's Gone", which charted at number 24 as well as collaborations with fellow BtoB member Hyunsik on "Come Closer" and Pentagon's Jinho on "Always". Jung returned in February 21, 2019 with digital single, "Spoiler", featuring Babylon. On December 31, 2020, Cube Entertainment announced Jung's departure from BtoB following drug charges and surrounding legal issues, resulting in the performer's indefinite hiatus.
