Jeong Seo-joo, born on July 9, 2008, in Busan, South Korea, is a talented trot singer who gained widespread recognition as the winner of Miss Trot 3 in 2024. She started her career at a young age, gaining attention through her song covers on YouTube under the channel 'Trot Morning Star Jeong Seong-ju.' Known for her clear and soft tone, Jeong Seo-joo is celebrated for her ability to captivate listeners with a variety of genres, including trot, ballads, and pop. In 2022, she signed with Warner Music Korea, debuting with the album To the Flowers in September. She also held a debut concert the day before the album's release. Her first digital single, Waiting is Nothing, is released in October 2024.
