His music was widely broadcast via Japanese television dramas as well as adverts, with his 1992 song 'Kurisumasu Kyaroru No Koro Ni Wa' featuring on the Tokyo Broadcasting System show 'Homework' and going on to become a Christmas staple in Japan. Inagaki continued to record and perform throughout the 1990s and 2000s, including releasing several albums of romantic duets with Nanase Aikawa, Taeko Onuki and Koyanagi Yuki. He stopped releasing records in 2017 but continued playing live until 2018.
