Junya Narita, a singer-songwriter born in 1993 in Aichi, Japan, ventured into his music career after some life-changing personal and professional experiences. His musical journey took a more personal turn after his band dissolved due to internal conflicts and following a significant breakup. These challenges led him to embark on a solo career at 24. Relocating to Tokyo, Narita took his music to the streets, performing in shopping malls and capturing the attention of diverse audiences with his live sessions. His music reflects themes of personal growth and the rediscovery of one's roots, a revelation strengthened during the Covid-19 lockdowns when he realized the profound significance of art, music, and family. In September 2019, Narita released his debut single "Close Your Eyes", and by 2020, amidst the global pandemic, he expressed his newfound appreciation for his origins and familial love through his music, encapsulated in his poignant single "Hometown"(2024).
