Ria Kaela Kimura, who goes by Kaela Kimura, is a pop singer of Japanese and English heritage who first garnered attention as host of a Japanese morning television show called 'Saku Saku' in 2003. Her 2004 debut album, 'Kaela', went to number seven on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart and she has released several albums since then including 'Circle' (2006), 'Scratch' (2007), 'Hocus Pocus' (2009), 'Sync' (2012), 'Mietea' (2014) and 'Punky' (2016). Her 2011 single 'Kidoairaku' went to number six on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart as did 'Chocolate' (2011) and 'Mamireru' (2012). 'Egg' (2015) reached number seven, 'Sonic Manic' (2015) number 22 and her 2017 release 'Holidays' peaked at number 55. Her 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Gunma, Hookaido, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Takamatsu, Nagoya, Osaka and Miyagi.
