Kanonenfieber

Kanonenfieber is a blackened death metal project founded in Bamberg in 2020 by an artist named Noise. The band's main theme is the First World War. Noise plays all the instruments himself and produces the studio recordings independently. For live performances, he is supported by a guest band consisting of Gunnar (bass and backing vocals), Kreuzer (lead guitar), Sickfried (rhythm guitar) and Hans (drums). Musically, Kanonenfieber play melodic blackened death metal, and the lyrics are based on historical events and documents, often from the First World War. The debut album Menschenmühle (2021) received much praise from critics and fans. in 2024, the second studio album Die Urkatastrophe was released, which reached number 3 in the German charts. Noise also released several EPs and singles such as Yankee Division (2022) and U-Bootsmann (2023). Kanonenfieber is known for its dark themes, which are often linked to anti-war statements, as well as its intense and energetic music.
