Keaton Henson, born in London on March 24, 1988, is the son of actor Nicky Henson and dancer Marguerite Porter. A cartoonist, he first came to prominence in 2010 with the online release of his first songs, which formed the basis of the album Dear..., released at the end of the year and reissued two years later. A discreet author, composer and performer, he cultivates solitude and shuns the stage, preferring to devote himself to composing and drawing. The song "Charon " is also the title of his graphic novel and of an exhibition in which he sings in front of just one person, through a glass window. He then toured museums before releasing his second album Birthdays in 2013. The following album, Romantic Works (2014), produced with cellist Ren Ford, is entirely instrumental. From a classic style between folk and rock, Keaton Henson switches to electronic instrumentation and sound collages for the next project, released in 2015 under the name Behaving. The same year, after scoring the ballet Young Men, sees the release of an album of previously unreleased tracks entitled 5 Years. His third, more orchestral solo album, Kindly Now, was released in 2016.
